New Website Showcases Abilities in AbilityOne

Alexandria, VA - October 2009. AbilityOne has launched its new website, designed by Bremmer & Goris. Abilityone.org serves as a central information source about the program for government and Department of defense (DoD) procurement officials, the press and the general public. Beyond providing information about the program benefits and its various products and services, the new site incorporates career resources for people with disabilities interested in employment for the program.

Bremmer & Goris began work with a full architectural renovation, which now includes a section devoted entirely to the DoD, the program's largest customer. The new site also features a completely new user interface, improving usability and adhering to their brand. In addition to the development of the new website, Bremmer & Goris has been a long-term partner with the AbilityOne program developing marketing communications, media planning and award winning advertising.

The AbilityOne Program is the largest single source of employment for people who are blind or have other severe disabilities in the United States, providing employment opportunities to more than 40,000 people. More than 600 participating nonprofit organizations employ these individuals and provide quality goods and services to the federal government at a fair market price.
